By results of field tests of humic fertilizers of the trade mark «AgroBioStim»
on a rape
(n 2006-2007)
Field industrial tests of humic fertilizers «AgroBioStim» are spent on firm ET fields «SLAVI ATANASOV» with. Septembrisi on a breed rape «REMI» firms KWS.
The period of tests - droughty. The autumn was droughty, deposits has dropped out very little. Soft snowless winter with average temperatures to a minus 8-14ОС. The spring has stood out droughty - deposits 50% from demanded norm have dropped out.
For the analysis and comparison of indicators on tests of humic fertilizers we took three different plots, in various economy, but in one area, i.e. under identical agroclimatic conditions.
Skilled plot № 1 ET fields «SLAVI ATANASOV» (tests of humic fertilizers).
Total area - 240 hectares, rape seeds «REMI» productions KWS, time of crop of 18-20.09.2006 the Predecessor – sunflower, soil – stony, with the low content of a humus. Planned productivity of 2-2,2 tons of seeds of a rape from hectare.
The general fertilising plan:
1. Autumn (on October, 1-3st) a foliar top dressing of plants, in a phase 3-5 sheet, humic OM fertilizer «PHOSPHORUS HUMATE» in a dose of 3 l/hectares (for supply of plants by nutrients and protection of plants from winter frosts).
2. Vernal (on March, 10th) basic top dressing by nitric fertilizer - Ammoniac saltpeter in a dose of 300 kg/hectare (active substance N-96 kg/hectare).
3. Vernal (on March, 18th) a foliar top dressing, in a phase the beginning of vegetation of plants, humic the OM fertilizer «NITROHUMATE» in a dose of 3 l/hectares together with herbicides (for powerful start of plants in the beginning of vegetation and growth and development stimulation, for supply of plants by a complex of nutrients and treatment of plants amazed with winter frosts and diseases).
Control plot № 2 Field of a rape near with Belgyn (cultivation on traditional technology).
Total area - 180 hectares, rape seeds «REMI» productions KWS, crop time – 18-20.09.2006 the Predecessor – sunflower, soil – a common chernozem, with the high content of a humus. Expected productivity of 2-2,2 tons/hectares.
The general fertilising plan:
1. Autumn (on October, 4th) unroot processing of plants, in a phase 3-5 sheet, growth regulators in a dose of 2,5 l/hectares.
2. Vernal (on March, 5th) basic top dressing by nitric fertilizer - Ammoniac saltpeter in a dose of 350 kg/hectare (active substance N-112 kg/hectare).
Control plot № 3 Field of a rape near with. Mogilize (cultivation on traditional technology).
Total area - 60 hectares, a rape breed «Elvis Sertis», crop time – 16,09,2006 the Predecessor – sunflower, soil – a common chernozem, with the high content of a humus. Expected productivity of 2-2,2 tons of seeds/hectares.
The general fertilising plan:
1. Vernal (on March, 10th) basic top dressing by nitric fertilizer - Ammoniac saltpeter in a dose of 300 kg/hectare (active substance N-96 kg/hectare).
RESULTS OF FIELD TESTS OF HUMIC FERTILIZERS ON THE RAPE:
The first check samples were are taken in a phase of development of buds (on April, 3rd), during the control plots were photographed. Rape crops have following distinctions in development (the photo 2-10):

Comparative samples of plants of a rape from an experimental field and control plots. On a photo the big difference in development of plants is visible. On the left side of a photo of a plant of a rape from control plots № 2 and № 3, with the core normally developed by a stalk and with additional shoots with buds of colours. On the right side of a photo the plant from a skilled plot № 1, apparently on a photo instead of one basic bud, here has grown from 6 to 8 basic buds and set of additional productive buds. Plants from an experimental field on the sizes and weight much more advance plants from control plots.
Skilled plot № 1.
Apparently on a photo of 12 and 13 plants of a rape blossom simultaneously, the basic buds blossom powerfully, plants have even more grown up and do not react at all to a strong drought.
Control plot № 2 (a photo 14-15).
Rape plants blossom strongly. As experts speak this plot it is possible to show as the sample, however it is visible, that plants have one basic bud.
Control plot № 3 (a photo 16-17).
Plants rape blossomed non-uniformly, to 30-35 % of crops (amazed with frosts) lag behind in development.
In a picture 25 the difference in weight and quantity of seed pods about one plant (average indexes) is visible. On the left side of a picture seed pods from an experimental field № 1, in number of 700-850 pieces, at average weight 300-400 gr from one plant.
In the middle of a picture seed pods in number of 150-250 pieces, at average weight 88-110 gr, from a control plot № 2.
On the right side - 80-120 pieces, at average weight 40-60 gr, from a control plot № 3.
Skilled plot № 1.
Plants very strong, height 160-180 sm, productive pods a dense carpet have closed all free space. Apparently in a picture 19, the quantity of productive pods much more exceeds average indexes.
Control plot № 2.
Plants strong, height 115-120 sm, productive shoots with seed pods have densely closed all free space. However by quantity of seed pods the plant concedes to the sample from an experimental field № 1.
Control plot № 3.
Plants in a normal condition, however to 30% of plants are continued by flowering that means non-uniformity in development of plants and in maturing of seeds. Plants of a rape in height and strongly concede of 95-100 sm on development to plants from a skilled plot № 1.

Skilled plot № 1.
Seeds of a rape have completely ripened also some pods began to open. The general condition of crops - excellent. We have arrived on a plot to a harvest time, samples of plants took and have spent a control mowing (photo 27) average productivity of seeds from a plot has made a photo – 5600 kg/hectares.
Control plot № 2.
Rape plants in a good condition. However the strong wind has put a part of crops (a photo 29). Seed pods little bit greenish and under the plan, will begin harvesting not earlier than in two weeks. After carrying out of a control mowing average productivity of seeds from a plot makes - 3365 kg/hectares.
Control plot № 3.
Rape crops in bad condition. All empty places in the field (where rape plants are amazed by winter frosts and strongly lagging behind in development) have strongly grown with a grass and colours. To choose a plot for a control mowing and it was not possible, approximate productivity of seeds will make 1,5-1,8 tons/hectares.
SHORT BREEDINGS:
Apparently by results of the tests, specified above, the basic distinction at rape cultivation consists in application of various stimulators and fertilizers for unroot processings of plants, namely:
1. A skilled plot № 1.
1. Autumn unroot processing of crops with humic OM fertilizer «PHOSPHORUSHUMATE» in a dose of 3 l/hectares, in a phase 3-4 sheet (which not only supplies plants with nutrients, but also increases sugar in plants, that protects plants from winter frosts and other winter damages, and fungicide and bactericidal properties of fertilizer protect plants from the diseases caused soil pathogens).
2. A vernal foliar top dressing with humic OM fertilizer «NITROHUMATE» to a dose of 3 l/hectares, in a phase of the beginning of vegetation (gives powerful signal to start in the beginning of vegetation of plants, supplies plants with a full complex of nutrients and stimulates immune system of plants, that protects plants from a drought and economically important diseases). Average productivity of a plot has made 5600 kg/hectares, that on 150-180% has exceeded expected productivity.
2. A control plot № 2.
Autumn unroot processing of crops by a growth regulator has brought expected result. Plants have sustained winter frosts and to vernal vegetation crops were without defeats from frosts. However, growth regulators carry out narrow function and do not supply a plant with nutrients. Average productivity of a plot has made 3365 kg/hectares, that on 50-65% has exceeded plan productivity.
3. A control plot № 3.
Refusal of autumn processing of crops by growth regulators has led to loss to 30% of crops that has in total affected for all period of vegetation of plants: a bad condition of crops, non-simultaneous flowering of a rape, and as a result lower productivity of crops. Preliminary productivity on 30-40% is less than planned.

As we see from the resulted calculations, the increase in expenses at 33,30 euros/hectares (for a foliar top dressing of crops the OM fertilizers «AgroBioStim») has increased productivity of a rape to 150-180% have led to additional profit.
